Letter to the editor – Dick Finch

To the editor,

Now that the most important school-college bond issue is passed, I think we should take a very, very hard look at any unnecessary expenditures in our financial position – Old Highway 30 beautification, $1 million dog park – and spend our time and resources on the next issue, and as important as school, housing.

To enable our county to grow population so we would have more clout and more government money for whatever is needed to complete this overall project of growing Greene County’s population, quality of living, and job opportunities, with better education available and affordable housing available.
Ken Paxton, get to work and get something done on this housing.

Dick Finch, Jefferson
