Greene County magistrate court, week ending Feb. 14

Cases were initiated in magistrate court during the week ending Feb. 14 as follows: James Harris of Woodward, violation of no contact order; and Courtney Lynn Morlan of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Feb. 14 as follows: Sharon Rebekah Stewart of Ames, operation without registration card or plate, $50; *Gabrielle Susan Howard of Ankeny, possession of alcohol under age, $200; Daniel Dean Pittman of Jefferson dark window/windshield, $50; and Mitchell Chad Stevens of Ralston, failure to yield to vehicle on right, $100.

Also, speed, $40 (6-10 over): Scott Harry Copeland of Bagley, Scott Murray Smyth of Granger, *Mark Wayne Holtan of Thor, Daniel Mark Goss of Des Moines, *Jeffrey Robert Wahl of Twinsburg, OH, *Juli Mary Kwikkel of Storm Lake, and *Sharon Kay Burkhart of Perry.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): *Jammie Bell Venteicher of Bouton, *Megan Ann Wiese of Holstein, *Ethan Peter Yetmar of Fort Dodge, and Edwin Laverne Patrick Jr of Grand Ledge, MI.

Commercial motor vehicle violations: Denise Leann Stolarik of Rancho Cordova, CA, hours of service violation, $50.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): *Christian David Matthews of Ankeny, speed, $80; Mira Jean Dezember of Lake City and Jessica Ann Marie Kelton of Jefferson, operation without registration card or plate, $50; Fenyx D. Shields of Homewood, IL, hours of service violation, $50; *Peter Andrew O’Tool, *Madison Taylor Lawler and *Jared Andrew Krause, all of Carroll, possession of alcohol under age, $200; *Ricky Eugene Comer of Grand Junction no valid driver’s license, $200; and Nicholas Weber of Jefferson, curfew violation, $20.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
