Greene County junior Brock Wuebker advanced to district wrestling in Harlan with a second place finish at sectionals. Wuebker lost Feb. 10 in the first round to Carter Maynes of Red Oak by major decision 2-10. He defeated Beau Barncastle of Creston/Orient-Macksburg for third place at 170 pounds.
Clint Dennhardt was a first place winner at 182 pounds at sectionals but was unable to wrestle Saturday due to illness.
Atlantic-CAM won the district title with 90 points. Second was Creston/Orient-Macksburg with 81.5 points, followed by Red Oak 71; Winterset 67; Shenandoah 61; ADM 60; Woodward-Granger 44; Kuemper Catholic 40; Harlan 32; Southwest Iowa 20; Greene County 8. ~courtesy of The Scranton Journal
