Greene County High School will host the Iowa High School Music Association state jazz choir festival the afternoon and evening of Monday, Feb. 5. The first group will perform at 2:50 pm, with Greene County performing at 9:20 as the last group.
Anyone is welcome to listen to any groups, with an entry fee of $6 for adults and $3 for students.
Jazz choirs from Audubon, Nodaway Valley, Kuemper Catholic, Nevada, Winterset, ADM, Perry and Greene County will perform. Each group has a 40 minute time slot in which approximately half of their time is their judged performance and the other half is a critique session with the judges.
