LifeServe Blood Center urges blood donors to resolve to make one more donation in 2018 than in 2017.
“Donating blood is the easiest way to make a huge impact in your community,” a LifeServe spokesperson said. “One hour of your time and one pint of your blood will save three local lives. That’s more than some people can do in a lifetime. By adding just one more donation to your schedule in 2018, you can help ensure the community blood supply remains stable.”
A community blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 12:30 to 5:30 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way, in Jefferson.
