Early Learning Center receives generous donation from Midland Power

Midland Power Cooperative, along with CoBank and Basin Electric recently donated $15,000 to the Greene County Early Learning Center for classroom improvements.

Early Learning Center executive director Cherie Cerveny said the donation will be used to improve security at the center. Keypad locks will be installed on all classroom doors and the computer system will be updated to work with the security system. “This is a preventive measure, not because something has happened,” Cerveny said.

Any remaining funds will be used to replace outdated furniture.
