Greene County magistrate court, week ending Nov. 23

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered against Ervin Alagic, hometown not given, on a charge of trespass (casino self-exclusion). He was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and a $125 Law Enforcement Initiative surcharge. Court costs were $60.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Beth Lappegard of Perry, possession of drug paraphernalia; and Christopher Wade Lindaman of Jefferson, theft- fifth degree.
Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Nov. 23 as follows: Cody Allen Askvig of Carroll and Hanna Kristine Meinecke of Jefferson, dark window or windshield, $50.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *Thomas Merle Cummings of Willow Springs, MN, *Heather Marie Miller Parker of Lohrville, *Cesario Patlan Gutierrez of Waterloo, and Eric Andrew Moore of Lincoln.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Marshall Allen Bell of Bettendorf, Sara Nicole Hoppenworth of Tripoli, Nathan Matthew Wendl of Carroll, Marcus Chauncey Seay of Davenport, and John James Muir of Rippey.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Jeremiah Franklin Ortner of Calhoun, LA, Jedadiah Clifford Smith of Highland, MI, Bernette Erma Ramaekers of Bayard, and Belinda Marie Lawson of Jefferson.
Hunting/fishing violations: Thomas E. Edwards of Johnston, restriction on game, steel shot violation, $25.

Commercial motor vehicle violations: George William Klocke of Templeton, maximum gross weight violation, $11, and maximum group axle weight violation, $22.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Sara Michele Godwin of Correctionville and Thomas Clayton Woody of Des Moines, operation without registration card or plate, $50; Eugene Francis Venteicher of Des Moines, failure to maintain/wear safety belts; Casey J. Nelson of Jefferson, speed, $40; Marcus Larry Lamar Cannon of Jefferson, failure to provide proof of security liability, $250; and Janet Lea Danielson of Fort Dodge, open container- driver, $200.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
