Tickets available for inaugural BOOST Bash

Community-driven fundraiser for Greene County school district

Persons who are looking for a new gift idea for their child’s teacher or anyone on their gift list is asked to think about buying tickets to the BOOST Bash. BOOST is an acronym for Bringing  Optimism and Opportunity to Students and Teachers. The totally community-driven effort aims to benefit students and teachers of the Greene County Community School District.

The BOOST Bash is slated for Saturday, March 24, at the Greene Room at Wild Rose Casino. The evening will include a social, a dinner, a celebration of the Greene County schools, recognition of positive things happening in the district, and live and silent auction.

All proceeds from the event will directly impact students and classrooms in the Greene County schools. The BOOST committee is working with teachers to identify high impact projects and to create teacher grant opportunities.

Tickets for the inaugural BOOST Bash can be purchased online at www.boostgreenecountyschools.com or by mailing a check to Greene County Schools BOOST, PO Box 4, Jefferson, IA 50129. Checks should be made payable to the Greene County School Foundation with BOOST on the memo line. Tickets are $25 each.
