The next meeting for the Connecting Schools and Parks planning project is Thursday, Nov. 2, at 5:30 pm at the Greene County Community Center.
Iowa State student Zoey Mauch, who is writing the plan as a class project, will share her preliminary plans. This is a public meeting, and input from the public is important in the process.
Mauch’s project has gained a higher profile in the community because it addresses the desire by some for a multi-use trail from Grauer St south the Greenewood Road along Highway 4.
