“Avoiding Frauds & Scams” is the topic of the Community Conversation Thursday, Oct. 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Jefferson.
Diane Humphrey, marketing manager for Iowa Home Care, will lead the conversation, discussing a variety of scams going on in Iowa, what to watch and listen for, and ways to handle callers.
Fellowship and snacks will begin at 5 pm, with snacks provided by Regency Park Nursing and Rehab Center. The conversation will begin at 5:30.
