The Rippey United Methodist Church will be a “happening scene” Sunday, Sept. 10.
The afternoon begins with a concert by the Greene County Singers and the Jefferson United Methodist bell choir at 3 pm. The Greene County Singers, a county-wide chorus open to all singers, is under the direction of Sheilah McGregor-Pound. A free will donation for the groups will be accepted during the concert.
Members of the Rippey United Methodist Church will host their annual fall ice cream social from 4 to 7 pm. The menu includes loose meat sandwiches and homemade pie and ice cream.
“Enjoy good music, good food and good friends,” a church spokesperson said.
