Gretah Johnson, 12, of Jefferson performed in the championship round of the 58th annual Bill Riley Talent Search at the Iowa State Fair Sunday.
Gretah performed a tap solo. Hers is one of six finalist acts selected in the Sprout division for ages 2-12. The six winning acts performed in championship on the Anne and Bill Riley Stage.
Sprout champions each received a prize of $250 and will not be judged. Performers in the Senior division were ranked and receive larger cash prizes. More than $17,000 was awarded in the two divisions combined. This year’s contest was sponsored by Hy-Vee.
