Catherine and Shane Lucas of Des Moines are the parents of a daughter, Anna Lucille, born Aug. 2. She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches long. She was welcomed home by Gus, the family dog and former ruler of the house. Grandparents are Tori Riley of Jefferson, Dan and Brenda Chargo of rural Glidden, and Pete and Janet Lucas of Roscoe, IL.
