All area veterans and motorcyclists are invited to be part of a motorcade that will escort the 9/11 Never Forget mobile exhibit to Jefferson Friday, June 30.
The motorcade will form at 11 am at the parking lot at Shopko/Hy-Vee in Perry. The planned departure time is noon. The motorcade will travel west on Highway 144 and north on Highway 4 through Jefferson to Wild Rose Casino.
“We want to give this memorial a huge Greene County welcome and the respect it deserves,” said Aaron Harn, marketing manager at Wild Rose.
The 9/11 Never Forget mobile exhibit will be open July 1-3 from noon to 1 pm and July 4 from 2 to 8 pm. There is no charge to tour the exhibit.
