Selfie Summer Safari in Jefferson

The Jefferson Matters: Main Street promotions committee invites visitors and area residents  to get ready for fun in Jefferson’s downtown this summer visiting all of the many attractions and icons that make Jefferson unique.

A Selfie Summer Safari has been created with 40 ideas for pictures to be taken and posted to Facebook or Instagram with the #jeffersonmatters. “Discover Jefferson this summer with your friends and family as you use this list to find the blue bird in Sally’s Alley and post a selfie. Find the Doreen Wilber statue and post a selfie. Find the corn in the garden and post a selfie. There are 40 ideas!” a spokesperson said. Every idea is within walking distance of the Main Street district.

The Selfie Summer Safari list can be picked up at Fudge’s Flowers and Gifts, Greene Bean Coffee, The Printer’s Box, the Jefferson public library and the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower. The list can also be found on the Jefferson Matters: Main Street website under the Discover tab. www.jeffersonmatters.org

The activity is a great challenge for visitors, residents, grandchildren, college students, and people of all ages to discover and rediscover what is right here in Jefferson’s downtown. This is a project of the promotion committee of Jefferson Matters: Main Street.
