Scranton area residents are making plans for a big celebration when the community celebrates its sesquicentennial: 150 years. The date of June 29, 2019 has been selected.
To raise funds for the expenses that go with a celebration, the committee has planned a brunch and BINGO event on Sunday, May 7. People of all ages are invited to come enjoy a delicious brunch and then play a few games of bingo.
Prizes will be awarded to the lucky game winners. A free will donation will be welcomed for the meal.
