All are invited for a Kentucky Derby-themed cash mob in downtown Jefferson Saturday, May 6.
As in previous cash mobs, the goal is for each person in the group spend $20 and make an economic impact on the businesses that are visited.
“Mobbers” should meet at the Jefferson Matters: Main Street office at 10 am to walk together to Angie’s Tea Garden for pastries and beverages.
The group will then “trot” to Fudge’s Flowers & Gifts and make purchases there. “This May date is a great time to order flowers or purchase gifts or gift certificates for the upcoming Mother’s Day weekend,” a Jefferson Matters spokesperson said.
Receipts will be entered into a drawing for $25 in Chamber Checks.
In keeping with the Kentucky Derby theme, participants are invited to wear their finest hats. Men, women and children are welcome to participate in the Derby Cash Mob.
