Local law enforcement adds Leads Online to its tool belt

Jefferson police captain Heath Enns shared information this week that thanks to an anonymous donation of $2,200, the JPD and the Greene County sheriff’s office now have access to Leads Online.

Enns calls Leads Online “an amazing tool for law enforcement to better serve the citizens of our city and county.”

Leads Online will provide more information in a more timely fashion, helping them solve more cases. Among the advantages is tracking sales at every pawn shop in the nation.

“Thank you to all who have supported us in the past and continue to support us in helping law enforcement keep our community safe. Burglaries and thefts in our community will not be tolerated, and this tool will help us strictly enforce the state laws that protect us from these crimes,” Enns said.
