The 31 adult participants in the 2017 winter reading program read 315 books and performed 702 acts of kindness and other activities all focused on the theme “Build a Better World.”

Participants picked up packets in January with suggested book to read and activities to complete. Linda Rice read the most books, Elaine Deluhery reported the most acts of kindness, and Jane Healy completed all the activities. Deb Etherton won the grand prize drawing of $75 in Chamber Checks.

Prizes were awarded at a wrap-up party Saturday, March 11.
