Cattlemen slate annual dinner for Feb. 25

The Greene County Cattlemen are making preparations for their annual banquet to be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at the Greene County Fairground’s Clover Hall. Social hour begins at 6 pm with a prime rib dinner at 6:30 pm.

Following the meal, the trophy auction will be held along with the awarding of numerous door prizes.

Money raised at the annual banquet and trophy auction will go toward the many projects supported by the Greene County Cattlemen throughout the year. They continue to support a number of 4-H and youth activities, Heart Smart promotions and other extensive beef promotions at the county, state and national levels. The Cattlemen can also be seen throughout the county doing various cookouts.

Tickets for the annual banquet and trophy auction can be purchased at the Greene County Extension Office or from any of the following directors: Mike Holden, Steve Kennedy, Doug Lawton, Dave Tipton, Tom Lawton, Pat Fields, Justin Robbins, Mike Ostendorf, Roger Rowles, Mick Towers, Tanner Lawton or Tom Heun.

Tickets will also be available that evening at the door. The public is welcome to attend.
