Nomination forms are now available at local libraries for the 8th annual Greene County Community Impact Award.
The award annually honors an individual or individuals who have made a contribution of time and talents, not only to a specific community, but to the county as a whole. The Impact Award will honor social, educational, or cultural contributions to the Greene County community as opposed to a business operation or work through an official position.
The award seeks to fill a gap. Communities honor individuals locally. The Impact Award will seek out those who have made a difference in the Greene County community.
Nomination forms are available at your local library. The deadline for nominations will be March 18. The announcement of this year’s recipient will be April 18.
The Greene County Community Impact Award will be presented May 7, in a 3 pm ceremony and reception in the Greene County courthouse rotunda.
