Calling blood donors to Jefferson on Jan. 10

When Christmas ends, don’t let your generosity end, too! Blood donors are needed year-round, not just during the holiday season.

Ninety percent of the American population experience the need for blood at some point in their lifetime. Because only 10 percent of the population is eligible to donate blood, regular donors are needed constantly. A regular blood donor can give their lifesaving gift every 56 days.

It’s not too late to start giving! You can save lives at a LifeServe community blood drive scheduled for Jefferson on Tuesday, January 10, from 12:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 801 W. Lincoln Way. The Greene County Medical Center auxiliary is sponsoring the drive.
