Greene County magistrate court, week ending Nov. 25

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered Nov. 23 against Megan Marie McCormick of Jefferson on a charge of assault. She was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $212.32.

Cases were initiated in magistrate court as follows: Jennifer M. Ashby of Jefferson, public intoxication, interference with official acts, and disorderly conduct; William Steven McClure of Jefferson, obstruction of emergency communication; Amelia Marie Kennedy of Jefferson, violation of no contact order;

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Nov. 24 as follows: Taylor Rose Hopkins of Rippey, operating non-registered vehicle, $50; *Anita Renee Alvarez of Guthrie Center, failure to maintain control, $100; Kurt Hadley of Jefferson, unsafe backing upon highway, $100;

Speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): *William F. Heater of Rippey.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *John Franklin Wamble of Evart, MI, *Dylan Matthew Ferguson of Harlan, Michael Thomas Kinley of Waukee, and Grace Lucile Geisler of Churdan.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Kristin Sue Sundall of Boone, Rowell G. Morillo of Hawthorne, CA, and Hayley Lynn Brown of Jefferson, speed, $20; Paul Richard Nelson of Fort Dodge, no valid driver’s license, $200, and failure to provide proof of financial liability, $250; Gene Dillavou of Jefferson, speed, $40; Ronald Dean Mulder of Clarinda, manner of conveyance- loaded gun, $50, and hunting by artificial lights, $100; Julie A. Neal of Jefferson, failure to maintain control, $100;; and Jay Dean Thompson of Grand Junction, unsafe backing upon highway, $100.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
