Does donate $1,600 to two projects

Does Drove No. 196 made donations to a pair of worthy projects recently.

The Does presented a check for $1,000 to Adopt-a-Family for the Christmas basket project. The money was from proceeds from the Election Day soup luncheon.does-to-adopt-a-family

Others who would like to donate to the Christmas basket project can mail a check to PO Box 364, Jefferson, IA 50129, or take the donation to any local Peoples Trust & Savings Bank location.

The Does also donated $604 to Brushy Creek Honor Flight. That is the cost for one military veteran to participate in an Honor Flight to Washington, DC. The donation is from the proceeds of a Coin March held during a Does district meeting in Jefferson last month.does-to-brushy-creek-honor-flight
