Fashion Fun and Communication at the Fair results told

The 2016 Greene County Fair 4-H clothing event was held Tuesday, July 11. Fourteen exhibitors competed in the event, which was judged by Barb Sexton of Rockwell City. The show was organized by clothing superintendents Jane Finch and Julie Larson.

Youth participants also showcased their projects in the 4-H Fashion Show held Friday, July 15.

Results of the 2016 Greene County Fair 4-H clothing event were as follows:

  • Grace Hardaway – $15 Challenge, blue
  • Hannah Curtis – Clothing selection, Fashion Review, $15 Challenge, three blue
  • Katrina Heupel – Clothing selection, Fashion Review, two blue
  • Natalie Heupel – Clothing selection, Fashion Review, two blue
  • Megan Palmer – Fashion Review, blue
  • Amie Schroeder – Clothing selection, $15 Challenge, two blue
  • Jaron Thompson – Clothing selection, $15 Challenge, two blue
  • Joe Thompson – $15 Challenge, blue
  • Samantha Hardaway – $15 Challenge, blue
  • Kara Schroeder – Clothing selection, $15 Challenge, one purple, one blue

The 2016 Greene County Communications at the Fair program took place Saturday, July 16. Six youth participated in the Share the Fun Show and two entries, three total youth, participated in working exhibits. Both events were judged by Raeann Hanlon The contest was coordinated by communications superintendent Yvette Bardole.

Results of the Greene County Fair 4-H Communications at the Fair program were as follows:

Share the Fun ribbon placings: Greene County 4-H (Kassie Lamoureux, Brian Hardaway, Avery Bardole, Josey Weaver, Madison Hall, Christopher Villalobos), skit, purple ribbon and State Fair selection.

Working exhibits ribbon placings: Bailey Anderson, 4-H bookmarks, purple ribbon and State Fair selection; and Katrina and Natalie Heupel, Plant a Turtle, purple ribbon and Clay County Fair selection.
