Applications for grants from the city of Jefferson’s hotel/motel tax fund are now available at city hall or at www.cityofjeffersoniowa.org.
Approximately $26,000 is available for projects/events that promote and encourage tourism and convention business in the city of Jefferson. The fund is derived from a tax imposed on the renting of lodging within the city.
Applications are due by Sept. 1 at 5 pm. Persons who want more information can call city staff at 515-386-3111.
