ISU students to return Feb. 22

Will present their ideas for Jefferson

Students from the ISU College of Design Retail Scapes studio class will return to Jefferson Monday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 4 pm at city hall. All interested persons are welcome to attend.

The students visited and toured Jefferson Jan. 27, meeting with more than 40 community members as they gathered information about Jefferson.

Instructor Lisa Bates explained what to expect. “With this presentation we will have all the student teams present and then ask those attending to give feedback after all the presentations are complete. This may include helping brainstorm ways to make the proposed identity/vision stronger, letting students know if there is something missing or misinterpreted, and any overall impressions about the presentations they saw and heard.”

Persons who are unable to spend the entire two hours with the students are welcome to stay as long as they can.

All those who met with the students last month are particularly invited, as well as any other interested persons. This project is a cooperative effort with Jefferson Matters: Main Street, the city of Jefferson, Greene County Chamber of Commerce and ISU Extension & Outreach.
