Greene County magistrate court, week ending Jan. 29

In Greene County magistrate court a judgment was entered James Michael Lefeber of Jefferson on a charge of harassment-third degree. Lefeber was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge and $60 court costs.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Jan. 29 as follows: Morgan Ann Forkner of Paton and Chelsey Elaine Morman of Perry, operation without registration card or plate, $50; and Michele Anne Meier of Livermore, careless driving, $35.

Also, speed, $90 (16-20 mph over limit): Darren Frederick Jackson of Grand Junction.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): Paul Henry Martin of Granger, *Nathaniel Todd Thornton of Jefferson, and Leon Louis Muhlbauer of Carroll.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Dylan Lee Wasson and Chelsey Elaine Morman, both of Perry, Sheila Rae Carvalho and Derick Alan Anderson, both of Fort Dodge, Marcia Ann Parrish of Algona, Lisa Renae Schwendemann of Otho, Katelynn Fees and Jonathan David Dolph, both of Jefferson, Travis J. Ledoyt of Hinsdale, NH, Jane Ann Thornton of Churdan, and Nathaniel James Biggart of Grand Junction.

Failure to obey stop/yield sign, $100: Curtis John Muir of Rippey.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Jessie Marie Sanders of Grand Junction, failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way, $100; Kirtana Fernando Gonzalez Antonio of Denison, failure to provide proof of financial liability, $250; Douglas P. Kooistra of Chicago, IL, and Henry Leo Christiansen of Emmetsburg, speed, $20; Garrett Rysavy of Jefferson, minor using tobacco, $75; and *Teisha Ann Thomas of Manson, operation without registration card or plate, $50.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.

*An additional $5 county surcharge was added.
