The Community Players of Greene County will bring the Emerald City to Greene County with a spring production of “Wizard of Oz.” Performance dates have been scheduled for March 18-20. Now is the time for everyone who has ever fantasized about being a witch – good or bad – a wizard, or maybe even a munchkin. There will be roles for people of all ages.
Auditions will be held Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 3-5, from 6 to 8 pm at Greene County High School. Rehearsals will begin as soon as possible after the auditions.
The Players had planned “Annie” as its winter production but performance rights were not granted.
