Representatives of two presidential campaigns have announced plans to be in Greene County next week.
Janet Huckabee, wife of Gov Mike Huckabee (R) of Arkansas, will have a “meet and greet” Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 10 am at Greene Bean Coffee in Jefferson.
Bruce Koeppl, senior advisor to Sen Bernie Sanders (D) of Vermont will be at the Jefferson public library Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 1:30 pm for “Coffee and Conversations” focusing on issues including Social Security, Medicare, prescription drugs and caregiving.
Note: At both gatherings, it is a representative of the candidate, not the candidate himself, who will be present.
