Two versions of this photo of the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower, which was first posted on GreeneCountyNewsOnline in August, 2014, are now being offered on canvas as a fundraiser for the Bell Tower Community Foundation.

Tim Buenz is spearheading the fundraiser on his own initiative. All proceeds from the sale of the canvas prints will benefit the Foundation.

Two sizes are available. The 12″ X 18″ version is cropped wide enough to show the Lincoln statue and the Medal of Honor flag. Cost is $89. The 12″ X 36″ version is cropped tight to highlight the Mahanay Memorial Carillon Tower. Cost is $129.

The prints are on display at Ben Franklin and can be ordered there. Delivery will be in time for holiday giving.

The photo has also appeared in a Greene County Chamber of Commerce ad in the national magazine Midwest Today, and on a refrigerator magnet that was available for sale at the Bell Tower. “When Tim approached me in July about the idea of using the photo as a fundraiser for the Foundation, I was more than happy to share it,” Riley said. “When I saw the sample prints, I was excited. He did a lot of research finding the right company to create the prints, and the colors are wonderful. I appreciate very much what he’s done with the photo.”
