Greenbrier 4-H club sends gifts to overseas children

One of the Greenbrier 4-H club’s  community service projects for the year is making Christmas shoeboxes for children in other countries with less than they have in.

Special care was taken to select appropriate gifts for the children who will receive these boxes. School supplies and hygiene items were included, along with a few fun toys or stuffed animals.  Amie Schroeder, a happy 11-year-old 4-H member said with a smile, “I love 4-H because we help people!”  We do this project each October.Greenbrier 4-H shoeboxes
