With the start of school Monday, hours will change at the Jefferson municipal swimming pool.
Monday through Thursday, Aug. 24-27, the pool will be open from 11:30 am to 1 pm for adult lap swim, and from 3 to 7 pm for open swim.
Friday, Aug. 28, students don’t have school, so the pool will be open for the mid-day adult lap swim and from 1 to 8 pm for open swim. That same schedule will apply to Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 28-30. The pool will close for the season when the gates are locked Sunday evening.
