Greene County magistrate court, week ending July 29

In Greene County magistrate court cases were initiated as follows: Johnathan Dale Laue of Grand Junction, domestic abuse assault-first offense; Anthony Charles Kennedy of Jefferson, interference with official acts; Nicholas Anthony Balderas of Bagley, interference with official acts; and James Allen Eberle of Jefferson, disorderly conduct.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending July 31 as follows: Michael Warren Federer of Baton Rouge, LA, speed, $140; Christopher Maurell Mannion of Jefferson, possession of alcohol under age, $200; and *John Lea Clark of Scranton and Jessica Lynn Wiegel of Jefferson, both operation without registration, $50.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): Marvin Erlwin Davisson of Bakersfield, CA.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): Jairo Eliut Rodriguez Blandon of Indianapolis, IN, Cheryl Lynn Newby of Winter Haven, FL, *Christopher David Mohr of Coon Rapids, *James Andrew Stotts of Glidden, *Sarah Leann Tempel of Gowrie and *Joel Ray Gustafson of Denison.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): *Zach Vincent Vaux of Monroe, WI, Rachel Ann Heinrichs of West Des Moines, Nicholas Anthony Magnani of Creston, *Marcus Keith Knudson of Winterset, *Cody John Paup of Churdan, Aurora Rodriguez Ibarra and Clinton F. Hopkins, both of Perry, Michael Justin Kigar of Cambridge and Marcia Kay Lowe of Jefferson.

Failure to obey stop/yield sign, $100: Matthew Lyle Hoffman of Carroll.

Commercial motor vehicle violations: Richard A. Johnson of Littleton, CO, operation by unqualified driver – no medical card, $50, and maximum hours of service violation, $50.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Taylor Nichele Shubin, Ashley Maye Ashenfelter and Noah Isaiah McCrady, all of Fort Dodge, possession of alcohol under age, $200; Michael Warren Federer of Baton Rouge, LA, no valid driver’s license, $140; and Ryan James Hanson of Jefferson, failure to maintain control, $100.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.

*An additional $5 county surcharge was added.
