Greene County magistrate court, week ending July 2

Cases were initiated in Greene County magistrate court during the week ending July 2 as follows: Jeffrey Paul Olberding of Scranton, criminal mischief-fifth degree; and Tyler Anthony Kokenge of Grand Junction, domestic abuse assault-first offense.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending July 3 as follows: Jennifer Lynn Oakes of Paton, dark window/windshield, $50; David John Desbiens of Churdan, no valid driver’s license, $200; Erica Lynn Teed of Jefferson, failure to secure child, $100; and *Madison Rae Payne of Fort Dodge, possession of alcohol under age, $200.

Also, speed, $80 (11-15 mph over limit): Katie Elizabeth Peterson of Lidderdale.

Speed, $40 (6-10 over): *Cindy Lea Dardis of Burlington, WI.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Joshua Richard Kunce of Yale, *Clinton Brent Steuk of Denison and Trisha Dee Easton of Bagley.

Failure to wear/maintain safety belt, $50: Anka Lynn Foutch Allen of Grand Junction.

Failure to maintain control, $100; *Nickolas Jantz Killion of Jefferson, *Dustin Darren Tromblay of Ogden, and *Nicholas Kaine Mikesell of Panora.

Hunting/fishing violations: Jordan Diekmann of Carroll, no ATV registration, $50.

Commercial motor vehicle violations: Randy R. Lundberg of Jefferson, looseness in yoke coupling to output shaft, $50, operating CMV without proof of periodic inspection, $50; Christopher JC Steddom of Marshalltown, inoperative/defective brakes axles 3/4, $50; and Jeremy Todd Uttecht of Jewell, inoperative rear left/right rear brake lights, $50.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): *Tabatha Marie Nalley of Churdan, unsafe backing on highway, $100; Nickalos Andrew Brown of Perry, no fishing license, $30; Annabelle Hurna Alvarez of Cherokke, speed, $90; Alexander James Dobney of Grand Junction, violation- financial liability coverage, $250; and Brandon Douglas Dudley of Grand Junction, speed, $20.

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.

*An additional $5 county surcharge was added.
