The fiesta comes to Regency Park

In observance of National Nursing Home Week, May 10-16, Regency Park Nursing & Rehab Center of Jefferson hosted several events meant to encourage residents, families, and other close relatives to visit with their loved ones and caregivers.

Many people got into the party mode because the American Health Care Association (AHCA) designated the theme for this year as “Bring on the Fiesta” and that’s what they did. “Our staff wanted to make this a special time of entertainment and education for all, while focusing on bringing to life the week’s theme of Familia, Vida, and Amor (Family, Life, Love),” said Toni Linberg, director of marketing. “This is a special time every year. We just wanted everyone to celebrate with the residents and patients, enjoying the activities, and the feelings of the theme.”

Linberg and the rest of the staff thanked everyone in the community who helped make this a great week of events for Regency Park by “Bringing on the Fiesta.”
