Intermediate, middle school students to honor choir

Thirty-two Greene County choir students from grades six, seven and eight will take part in one of two 160-voice honor choirs in the Webster City High School auditorium on Friday, March 27. The choirs will rehearse during the day, with a public performance at 7 pm. An admission will be charged.

Only 16 students from each participating school were allowed to be submitted for each choir. The students are responsible for memorizing four choral pieces prior to the event. “This experience is a rewarding day of vocal education,” said Greene County Intermediate/Middle School vocal music teacher Brenda Roberts.

Selected students are sixth graders Hannah Acton, Avery Bardole, Ana Coronado, Hanna Curtis, MaKenna Fox, Ashlyn Fredrick, Andrea Grundon, Madison Hall, Maezie Holderby, Lauryn Killion, Emma McColley, Ariel Mills, Joslyn Monthei, Chance Peterson, Josey Weaver and Sadie Wilson; seventh graders Kirsten Lamoureux, Julia Saul, Sophia Ausberger, Lydia Leggit, Regan Williams, Maya Anderson, Jacob Hanson and Mitchell Stevens; and eighth graders Fallon Heater, Cheyanne Exline, Cody Gilbertson, Morrgan Zmolek, Jaislynn Baugh, Robert Lenchanko, Arthur Bardole and Giovanni Romeo.
