Greene County magistrate court, week ending Jan. 23

In Greene County magistrate court cases were initiated during the week ending Jan. 23 as follows: Stephen Patrick Geneovese III of Des Moines, assault and possession of drug paraphernalia; Trinity Glen Welch of Grand Junction, public intoxication; and Rachel Nicole Glover of Rippey, interference with official acts.

Persons paid fines for scheduled traffic violations during the week ending Jan. 23 as follows: *Rocky Nolan Ford of Churdan, failure to maintain control, $100; Lori J. Rasmussen of Ogden, speed, $110; *Erik Scott Whiton of Perry, failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way, $100 ($88.34 court costs),and Bruce Raymond Keeney of Jefferson, unsafe backing upon a highway, $100.

Also, speed, $40 (6-10 over): Harold Wayne Grant of Ida Grove, *Paula Kaye Gordon and *John D. Brelsford, both of Grand Junction, Mark J. Skinner of Rock Island, IL, Indalecia Macedo of Norwalk, and *Jill Nicole Brock of Perry.

Speed, $20 (1-5 over): Kyle James McGraw of Polk City, Robert Andrew Boros and *Tita Benaso Bechard, both of Boone, Tyler Christian Pieken of Lake View, Lois Arlene Custer and Jeffrey Scott Schroeder and Bruce E. Youngblood, all of Jefferson, Neal Marion Hall of Sparks, NV, Thomas Andrew Dooley of Prole, Lyall Wayne Parker of Carlisle, Brenna Carol Christensen of Audubon, John Michael Gannon of Grand Junction, and David E. Pellan of Wahoo, NE.

Failure to stop/yield as posted, $100: Ann Armstrong Nichols of Jefferson.

Judgments were entered against individuals for nonpayment of scheduled fines as follows (original fine listed): Gamaliel Lepe Duenas of Carroll and *Ashley Dawn Rathbun of Windsor Heights, speed, $40; Melinda Ann Gallagher of Jefferson and *Joseph Ure of Guthrie Center, speed, $20; Mathew John Kramer of Boone, failure to use headlamps when required, $30; Shannon M. Haley-Funcke of Jefferson, failure to carry registration card, $20; Carmen Andrea Andrews of Grand Junction, failure to have insurance – accident related, $500;

The judgment includes a penalty of one-half the original fine and surcharge.

Court costs were $60 on each citation unless otherwise noted.
