Low cost dog/cat vaccination clinic slated for Feb. 1

The Animal Protection and Education Charity (A.P.E.)  of rural Paton  will be host a low cost vaccination clinic Sunday, Feb. 1, at the Milwaukee depot in Jefferson.

“We know that many people cannot afford a full service veterinarian. Instead of working with the vet, they do no vet work at all,” said A.P.E. director Linn Price.  “This is why A.P.E. reluctantly started to offer low cost vaccination clinics,  to provide preventative veterinary care to pets in families that cannot afford to use a full service clinic.”

A.P.E. offers a package that includes a well pet exam, rabies and distemper vaccinations, and a microchip ID at a cost that is less than half the price charged by most area veterinarians.
