Jefferson city offices, Greene County offices and state offices at the courthouse (clerk of court, Department of Human Services) will be closed Thursday and Friday for a two-day observance of Thanksgiving. Greene County employees forgo a paid holiday on Columbus Day to have the Friday after Thanksgiving as a paid holiday.
The Jefferson public library will close at 6 pm Wednesday. It will open for regular hours Friday. The Greene County Community Center will be closed Thursday but will be open its regular hours Wednesday and Friday.
