In Greene County magistrate court judgments were entered in two cases involving Christina Ellen Chapman of Jefferson. On Aug. 13, she was fined $100 with a $35 surcharge on a charge of assault-simple. Judgments were entered Aug. 20 in a case in which Chapman was charged with public intoxication and interference with official acts. On the public intoxication charge, she was sentenced to time served. She must pay a $65 fine and a $48 sheriff’s fee. On the interference charge, she must pay a $65 find with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60, for a total judgment of $260.75. A charge of disorderly conduct was dismissed.
A judgment was entered Aug. 13 against Matthew James Cummings of Jefferson on a charge of disorderly conduct. Cummings was fined $65 with a $22.75 surcharge. Court costs were $60.
Cases were initiated as follows: Richard Charles Burkhardt of Jefferson, interference with official acts; and Jameson Todd Ross of Runnells, public intoxication.
