Rippey library tells July summer reading events

RippeyStaff at the Rippey public library has planned several activities for the summer reading program in July as follows:

Wednesday, July 2: Youngsters can make a glow-in-the-dark bouncy ball at 4 pm.

Tuesday, July 8: Staff from the Science Center of Iowa will be at the library at 10:30 am.

Tuesday, July 15: Learn about wind energy from UNI Resources for Energy Education at 4 pm. Sponsored by Junction Hilltop Wind Farm.

Monday, July 21: Magician Jonathan May will perform his tricks at 4 pm.

Wednesday, July 30: The summer reading program will wrap up with games, prizes and more at 4 pm.
