Vineyard gift certificates and potato bar luncheon to benefit Relay

A pair of fundraisers – a raffle and a luncheon – have been announced for Relay for Life.

Farmers Mutual Insurance is raffling three $75 gift certificates for John 15 Vineyard of Scranton. The gift certificates can be used at John 15 Vineyard’s meeting and retreat center, lodging, tree house camping or the vineyard pond. All the possibilities can be seen at www.john15vineyard.com.

The gift certificates can also be used to purchase John 15 Vineyard products at the Greene County Farmers Market.

The gift certificates are donated by Farmers Mutual Insurance Association. Raffle tickets at $1 each are available at Farmers Mutual Insurance/Complete Insurance, Peckumn Realty, Peoples Trust & Savings Bank in Jefferson, Home State Bank and at the Relay for Life.

The Cancer Crusaders team will host a potato bar and bake sale Sunday, April 6, from 11 am to 1 pm at Central Christian Church in Jefferson. The menu includes baked potatoes with a variety of toppings, lettuce salad, relishes, bars and beverages. Take-outs will be available. A free will offering will be accepted, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society via the Relay for Life.

The Relay for Life of Greene County is slated for Saturday, April 26, at the Greene County Community Center. For a complete list of teams visit the link in the sponsor portion of GreeneCountyNewsOnline.
